Okay, I downloaded some craps software, and now know pretty much all the bets for the game. And they say knowledge is power...sure...knowledge is the power to lose large sums of money. It's almost like these casinos have the games all rigged so they always come out on top.

And Trey, by "quarter" do you mean some hip gambling term like $2500 or $250, or do you mean 25 cents (and no, my laptop doesn' have a cents symbol key)? Btw, sorry on the Brewers game today (Saturday)...that had to suck.

I'm a lot closer to a broken hip than to be being hip.

BTW, speaking of wagers, I had a thought on a cheap little side bet action in the spirit of Vegas.

Each person chips in X dollars (say,$5 or $10 or $20).
Everyone gets to pick one manager as the tourney winner.
Whoever picks the right manager splits the pot with the winning manager.

Here's the catch(es):
- The same manager can be picked more than once. So, if everyone wants to load up on Paul's team because it kicks ***, and 6 people chose Paul and he wins, they split that half of the pot six ways.
- If no one picks a manager, and that manager wins the tourney, he gets the pot all to his lonesome.

Any interest? Or am I the only degenerate who may at one point have bet a friend which earwig made it first to the ceiling from the floor of our college apartment.

Oooh...I like that betting pool idea. If noone is willing to be handle the totes, I volunteer. That will give me something to do once I crash out of the tourney early.

Btw, I'm bringing a small 500 clay poker chip set I picked up for our home game recently. Not a ton o' chips, but enough for a five/six/maybe even seven-handed all-in tourney or two, and enough to forego the run down to the gift shop for ridiculously overpriced 10-packs.
