Keyzick's suggestions are good. Hawk would be a good choice as well. :)

Edge would be an excellent competitor, too.

I thought Hawk was already in? Isn't he listed at the 9-spot?

Anyway...some good managers out there to solicit...I threw in 3 off the top of my head, but being only 2-seasons deep with NLD I'd defer to you guys that have been it a lot longer for who you'd like to reach out to for filling of the final spots. :)

Keyzick, the Hawk joke goes way back. I think it was AT who one time in all seriousnress said we should invite Nythawk when he was in the league already. We've never let go of that, LOL.

My votes are Kev, Chasenally and Edge City...but I'm totally flexible.

I don't really know any of those guys, my preference is simply for people who will participate in the forums during league play, be reasonably on top of the draft, and, most importantly, that I can beat! ;)

I trust you guys to find people who fit the NLD mold.

p.s. Hawk, glad you can fill one of our openings. ;) Always good to have a tough competitor in the league.

Is anyone following up with replacements?

If we're going to do this, we should get moving. If not, then let's say we're not.

I've been working on this privately, with no success. I'll open up a thread today looking for temporary fill ins. Hopefully we can start drafting Monday. Does that suit everyone here that's said they're in?

Yeah, we've had a pretty good run. Our pitching was good but our bats were living on reputation. Hasn't been a great year overall for them.

Texas looks to be a little stronger offensively so you guys will have a challenge.

Yeah, several of the Phils had down years for them this year. And, the Giants do have pretty good pitching so...

The Rangers look pretty tough. Outside of Lee, I don't know that their pitching is as deep. Good speed however.

Interesting that both teams hit the same number of HRs even though the Rangers had a DH.

I'm sure it will be a good series.
