coming boyz...as usual, nearly all the picks are shrewd and painful. pokey reese, sanchez etc. ive actually owned moose once this year...it was in an all hitting league where no pitcher could be over 2m. he sucks, but so does everyone else...im more of a greinke fan...but in the hitters parks, he's quite dangerous. thanks catom for making me feel at home in your park...atleast half the division will be hitter friendly :D

having had francisco cordero ROBBED out from under me much earlier i took the OTHER francisco, frank...and his chair ofcourse. too bad I had my team name already...we coulda been frank francisco's chairs...minnesota chairs ofcourse. another thing I dislike about the tsn setup...you choose your team name first, and CAN'T change it. who you end up with in a live or autodraft may completely change the theme of the name you chose. you should also be able to choose your stadium, or change it after the autodraft for the same reason.

[quote:6ee4de4ad7]But now I'm less than interested, because the player pricing is not based on what the players did in real life; it is based on what they can do in TSN/SOM. [/quote:6ee4de4ad7]

Ah yes, but that would be part of the challenge- especially in regards to your pitching staff.

anybody keeping a tally on the money spent/left???
i'm concerned somebody's eyes may be too big for their belly ... and it will mess up the process... at the end of round 13 everyone should have at least $48 left by my calculation, or they won't have enough to pay 50 cents each for the next 12 players...
... the colonel

The Colonel has exactly 12 extra cents.

If he picks a $.62M guy, all of the rest of his picks have to be $.5M.

Be interesting to see how he does this, with no 1B, LF, RF, or DH, and needing 3 relievers. (I guess Blum could DH.)

Actually, it's an interesting idea, since those positions are where there are the most upgrades.

P.S. - the site does a very nice job tracking the money spent (click on "Draft Summary"), and so far everybody is under the limit. What I don't know is whether it will prevent a pick that takes anybody over their limit.

Sarge -- Atten-SHUN!

This private is wondering why I always have 8-10 proxies in but others don't have any. Guys, it's round 13, we had a great day yesterday, we can take this hill, c'mon let's go!

Remember when we used to do 2 picks a round in the late rounds? penngray's site can't handle that, but we could, if we just move back here for the last eight picks.

No, I'm not impatient. I just have nothing better to do.

As noted before, everybody's under the limit. The Colonel has the least left to spend, the Sarge has the most, and everybody else is within about $5 million total of one another.

I'm going to a Cubs game this evening, but I promise I'll put in proxies before I leave.
