If there's a 'silver lining' it's I scored 7 off Roger and 5 off Pedro, but the reality is I still lost, and the prospects of facing your top 3 in the first round makes me very nervous. :shock:

Were the keys to my chance at the playoffs. To be 2 games out with 30 to go and get swept and then lose 2 of 3 to the frontrunner is a big blow to my chances. Nice job, Jim. Your team is 16-4 the last 20 games.

My MM team is just playing for offensive stats. They are doing pretty well at that. If we could just stop the opponents from putting up big offensive numbers we could win a game or two and be talking about penant races with you guys. :cry: :cry:

Kev, I've got an idea. Start all your games 2 hours early but don't tell your opponent. I bet you could outscore them almost every time with that head start. :lol: :wink:

As I mentioned a couple of days ago, C2's squad will be difficult to beat in the p/o's due to that "top 3" pitching staff led by the Rocket who shut me out last night.

TSN really needs to allow the team with the best record to play the team with the worst record in the first round. It happens often that the WC has the second best record. I had another team which finished last night, 92 wins, but in the division with a 94 win team. To look at the flip side of what I just mentioned, the team with the second best record has to play the team with the best record in the first round, so even the WC gets cheated here. The second best record team should play the third best record. IOW, seed the teams!!

Sorry, I know venting here in this thread won't change anything, but I just needed to express that this morning. 8)

The vast majority of my playoff teams have been WC's with the 2nd best record in leagues I have beeen in. All of my Championship teams have been WC's as well. (Not that there are very many of those tho.) But I agree with Jeep on this subject. Best record should play worst record in the 1st round. Time to work again.

BTW, has anyone checked out Edge's record the past 20-25 games? He is streaking into the post. Good show, Edge. :wink:
