TONS of talent out there Niners, and you may have a trade partner in DT!

Feel free to make me an offer on Ankiel, he is not untouchable and could be had for one of your 2nd rounders + ???

BTW, u should get on AIM just so u can beeyatch at me & I can gloat. That would be fun! :P

Went for need more than upside but I did need another SP.

Hopefully my 3 minute pick will average out with the 5 hour decision earlier today. Too many computer issues.

Yeah that's a nice pick. He is in a group of 5-6 SPs that I figured would start to move around now...

I really wanted Bailey. :( Figured he wouldn't last another 6-7 picks.

trade to announce

Postby qksilver69 » Wed Mar 12, 2008 1:16 am

Mike J (aka Bubba H) & I have a deal:

he gets: Manny Corpas, Endy Chavez, my 3rd round pick (#8 in the round) this year, and my 3rd rnd FA pick next year

I get: his 2nd, 8th, and 9th rnd picks in this draft, his 1st rnd FA pick next year.

Mike dropped 11 so I believe we are ok on the FD Corollary w/o any further moves. Mike to confirm.

You guys just love making my job difficult, don't you?

I seriously needs someone to take over this league. This pick trading crap is seriously getting out of hand. Trying to keep up with one person having over 20 picks (mostly via trades) in this one draft is ridiculous.

Not to mention the now nouveau practice of trading NEXT YEAR'S FA Draft picks. This makes bookkeeping very difficult. Any one that mouths off about it not being hard with a spreadsheet and all then PLEASE, by all means, TAKE OVER! :x

Either that, or we have to come up with some kind of solution that works. As Qk pointed out to me, they do not even ALLOW FA pick trading in baseball. Maybe for good reason. :!:

Meanwhile, just that 1st pick in next year's FA Draft alone is a lot for a closer!
