Shall we close it out today (Friday waivers), tomorrow (Saturday waivers), or Friday (Sunday waivers)? Or wait for an early next week waiver date for maximum trading, trashtalking, worrying, fretting, and unnecessary releasing and pickingupping?
Friday and Saturday waivers are not the best for me but it's no sweat, I'll just take my medicine and hope for a good draft and/or good waiver slot...

The Blues' starting outfield went 3 for 33 (including 1st round pick Andruw
Jones @ 0 for 11), Josh Beckett got lit up for 4 long balls, and pesky
basestealer Damian Jackson pounded out a 1.000 slugging percentage
against our overmatched staff!
As a result, Calling Dr Fine (defending champ [b:09c7863bb3]Odie[/b:09c7863bb3]) is 3-0! :shock:
The Cogs' ([b:09c7863bb3]JCMoney[/b:09c7863bb3]) CC Sabathia threw an opening night shutout and Mike Hampton of [b:09c7863bb3]Splinter's[/b:09c7863bb3] Cut Rate 9 picked up his first win and also homered!
Great opening night, Guys, and thanks to Splinter and Bobby for rounding out another excellent field!
