The real baseball season will be over, the playoffs will be over and the world series will be started :shock:

When I set this draft up for dr.x I figured about 20-25 days for the draft which would have ended in time for my end of the month trip. I leave the evening of Sept. 28th and will be gone with little to no internet access for eight days.

Can we please pickup the pace, the weekend is here 8)

Joe is right! :wink: And, I have been part of the current problem. :oops: :roll: I will get my pick made shortly. We really need to move this along or we are going to have to cut the number of draft rounds down. I really don't want to have to do that.

Help us out. Use proxies, email, whatever it takes to keep this moving.

We can help each other out by leaving proxy picks with other coaches if you know you will be away for a long while. Joe, myself, bobby, are good guys to leave your picks with. I check online two to three times per day.

16 Rounds I believe is what we're shooting for, if everyone just works with the manager just before them or just after them in the draft and leaves proxies with either depending on the direction of the draft we could move things along a little to alot faster. I know we have a history of going slow in this draft but at some point with the number of rounds dr.x is trying to draft we have to speed things up.

I've never favored a clock I think everyone should be able to pick in a timely fashion. :)

Thanks for the "heads up" in league mail, Joe. Honestly, this draft moves so slowly, that I tend to forget about it between picks. :roll: I guess it's just another sign of getting old.... :roll:

I hear you, Minnie. Our history in Armchair is slooowww drafting. I wish it were different.

If everyone would just check in regularly and got serious about using proxies, PMs, email, league mail, and phone calls we could move this thing a lot faster. I can get a hold of half the guys (counting myself) in this league pretty quick because I have their phone numbers. Joe and Coach can contact some of the others (maybe all the rest) fairly quickly.

If we all work at it, we could wrap this draft up pretty quick and start play a week from Monday. It would not take a lot of effort to make this so. Let's work together to make this happen!
