Charlie, I think we can work out some kind of trade.

Stoney...You're in...

A Park that shuts everyone down with good pitching and maybe a power hitter shy of doing well. I think the road may not be as kind as home for your team, but it is still the rolls that make or break teams. I think you stand a decent chance to compete in our division.

Rob, I'm thinking the same thing. I was only trying a little reverse smack talk since I never win when I think I have a good team.

But if Charlie wanted to trade Lee to me then I would have the power hitter I was looking for. :D

I have one of those teams...

Where I pretty much got what I asked for...So if I do not make the post or at least the top 6, I certainly cannot blame a bad draft. During Waivers, all I did was bottom feed - taking best players available.

It was kind of nice not having to fill as many holes as usual. But I am the type that is never actually comfortable with my team and competition - esp. at this level of competition. I am still shocked that I was able to get Griffey. I wasn't expecting to get a LH power hitter of that calibre...Especially when I didn't take him top 5 - which i do when playing in a lefty park. I really think he will be a factor on the road.

Still, having to play at both Kaufmann AND Petco in the same Division is going to be a challenge - esp. with the pitching you and the Bears have in those tough HR Parks.

There are 6 or 7 teams that look like very strong contenders and then 4 others that look like given a few decent rolls, they could be right in the thick of it. I think the 2nd round is going to be brutally tough.

100M gives everyone a lot of options - lots of big rosters to create difficult matchups.

Well, I better get some shuteye...GL everyone. I am getting anxious to get started with this league. Robert

Don't think i ever listed my top 5 pix - which I was able to land. Actually, I got my top 7 - which is probably my best draft the past 2 yrs. I don't remember the exact order except for Arod at number 1.

But i think I had:

1. Arod
2. Roberts
3. Shields
4. Mauer
5. Jones
6. Small
7. Griffey/Konerko
8. Bay
9. Kent

I believe those were my top 4. 5 thru 10 I changed so many times, i can't actually remember.

I don't think I have too many untouchables on this team - so if you see a player on my squad that you'd really like to have - make an offer - worst that could happen is that I say no.

I think...

Your team looks pretty good, Bob. I have a feeling the Kauffman's, Jacobs and Petcos or PNC's of this round are going to be tougher than in the cheaper leagues because you are allowed to carry more talent to score more runs or shut a team down. BP HRs seem to be a huge factor with teams that win consistently this year. Whether you play in a 60, 80 or 100M format, a 1-1, 1-2 0r 1-3 BP HR format is usually an out.

I am definitely anxious to get this thing underway. My team has been in that Eastern Division for over a month now and the edge I felt had when I put that team together initially has become kind of rusty.

Looking forward to Monday...GL everyone.

I meant the SBC's as opposed to the PNC's - At least in that last statement i did.
