You don't need to be a StratOGenius to figure some things out:

This is a team that suffers a crisis of identity. There is way too much invested in pitching and way too little invested in hitting for Coors Field. This team could play much better on the road than at home.

This team is 12 and 9...pretty decent start...but playing 3 and 6 at home compared to 9 and 3 on the road. We still have another 48 3-game series to play...but I do like my predictions so far.

Well, as expected, and predicted by Psychic JKolak, Pattersons AVG is not very pretty ... however he & Mueller have combined for 15 runs & 14 RBI so far ... which puts them over a 90 RS/RBI pace. :)

Just 3 more series before the West starts playing new teams ... hopefully I can rebound from last nights sweep.

After 30 games, this league is tight. The only surprise is the City Island Decibels. The Big Unit at 1-6 is why Magic Alexx sits in last place in the East. His team could turn it around in the friendly confines of Veterans Stadium.

On another note, in the 2001 TSN_10737 league, in the fifth and deciding game of the semifinal series, my team overcame a 5-0 defecit to win a 7-6 victory which puts me in the finals with an opportunity to win a 23rd 2001 ring.

In a much more satisfying note, in the 2006 TSN_9729 league, my team won a game 5 victory against Altec1969 (whose budget for StratOMatic is larger than the gross national product of most Third World countries). I did pretty good against Altec in the playoffs throughout 2006. He did beat me once, but I've beaten him now 4 times in the playoffs. Matt Morris (yes the $1.63 wonder) shut Altec out in his both starts allowing just 6 hits and no runs over 16 innings. Bob Wickman relieved Morris in the 9th and didn't allow a hit in either game.

At .500 after 2 weeks which keeps me in the running for the WC. Hopefully my pitching will improve slightly and I'll be able to stay over .500. :)

All divisions are still close - but JKolaks road record is definitely setting him up well.

I'm crossing my fingers that someone will cut Floyd or LuGo. ;)

Don't see that happening though - so I'll have to hope my pitching gets better. Of course it would have helped if I had more RPs. ;) I might have to cut a bench player to give me more relief options.

Well everyone in the West is at .500, so a lot of how the division shapes up will depend on how well we do on the road against other divisions. JKolaks squad looks like it could contend for 100 wins!

JKolaks squad lost 2 of 3 at home but the Strawberries were unable to take advantage to gain ground on becoming the best team in the league. Meanwhile the West Owners are considering a petition to have Windsor transferred to the East division and an East Division team sent to the West.
