It's too bad there is not a live draft option. We could have just set a time and had everyone draft. The first round is going to take a whole day, the draft is going to take a while.

My main concern is that as it drags and you have a 3 hour time limit, it is hard to keep checking the computer to see if you have to draft. I know sometimes I login around midnight. The person picking after probably will not wake up before 3 am to get their pick in.

Has this been a problem in other drafts that people have partcipated in?

Please recheck VA lottery result. Our computers are heavilly screened and I can't. I thought it was 613.
Thanks,
Jim

thats what proxies are for. if you know you cant keep checking back in then you set those up so that you dont have to be around when your pick is going to be made. drafts like this take a lot of time and effort. especially a 40 round draft. normally you would do the first round without a clock then add one for all rounds after. i wanted to make sure everyone was able to use the site fully before the clock began. if everyone is comfortable we can add in the clock after round 1 is completed.

A week isn't a long draft. I was just looking at the first round here. We started at 10am and it is 5pm and there are only 4 picks in. That is a slow pace, but if people load proxies and stay on the ball we should get done quickly.

theres no clock in the first round. once everyone knows the draft has begun(has made a pick) it will move much quicker. especially once the clock has started.
