Unless Boss plans to play someone out of position or have a fourth OF, I'll post my public proxy of Clemente. :D

Good night everyone!

I have tom's proxy, so once Boss is in, we will be quickly getting into round two.

And by the way, for those who spell Palanion wrong - which I see a LOT - the pronunciation is pah-LAN-yen.

For those geeks out there, I was a big D&D role-player in my youth. A group of friends and I had outgrown the D&D stuff by '93-'94 and developed our own system, role-play heavy and less dice rolling, that was based in Tolkien's Middle Earth. So, when I created my diplomat character, I incorporated the word palantir (the mystical orb from Tolkien's books) into my name. I also had to include Lan, which was a nickname of sorts. In the early '90s I would MUD (multi-user dungeon) via telnet. My character name there was LAN, an abbreviation of my college radio DJ name of Lane Meyer, which was John Cusack's character in "Better Off Dead."

Sorry for the long story... been moody/touchy today.....

"And now back to your regular programming."

"Better Off Dead"--cool. I haven't thought about that movie in years. Is that the one where John Cusack is a skier and the newspaper kid keeps saying "I want my two dollars!"

College radio DJ--cool.

D&D role-playing--no comment.

Hahaha.....

Yes, "I want my two dollars."

I am known to say that ANYTIME someone says two dollars.

Cusack is one of my favorite actors, whether it was BOD or One Crazy Summer, Say Anything, Grifters, Gross Pointe Blank, etc. etc.

And.... can we track Boss down?

Guys, I apologize for holding up the draft at all. Based on how long it has been, I do not think anyone waited too terribly long. Also, this is the draft thread. We might want to keep the chat to the chat thread. I have posted MM's proxy so it is on to Tom.
