You can understand if I forgot. My brother & me are just a jinx. Both recently hospitalized (bro was in ICU almost a week & I had an emergency appendectomy), now yet another family member in the hospital.

My pick: Ill take my chances in the Windy City w/ Cubs/ChiSox. Cubs finished 2nd in NL central '09.

...guess I shoulda waited on the alignments eh? Oh well...that's the way it goes...Delbird, Shane, Tornonto50 and I will be in the west...although...I know ATL/WAS should be in the east...and at the least...the central...that would leave me to believe STL/KC should be moved to the West...whatever...what's a league if it's NOT unique?!? :?

It's 3:29 here in Chicago right now and I'm leaving to take my daughter to Michigan to see her mom...so..I will be away from the computer for a good 3 to 5 hours depending on traffic...I'll check back in when I get home and hopefully the league will be full tonight!!!

I'll carry on (soldier) but to me 1 of the attractions of this theme was a 2nd draft in reverse order to equalize things (just like traditional waiver$)
for those who picked middle of the pack or towards the end like me & DB.

So what happened to using the 8 undrafted clubs to equalize matters?

I need some time. Ive monopolized the computer all day & its time for others in the family to jump on. I DO have the PW thx!

Thanks for posting my pick caimrisek, and for the challenge of placing me in the west. It was actually part of my GM strategy to pick the most eastern combo that was left (along with liking Atlanta's pitching) under the geographic assumption that I wouldn't end up in the west - where the two top pick combos were, since I had the last pick - so much for strategies and assumptions. My Braves/Nats will take it as a challenge and see how things work out.

Delbird...Sorry I should've waited until the draft was finished knowing that there was one eastern team left that could've been picked. In a perfect world I would have put you in the central and put the STL/KC team in the west (most logical geographical solution). But I messed up...maybe I should've narrowed the choices down to divisions/matchups I wanted and listed the available teams and what divisions they would be in if/when drafted...then...once the divisions filled up...the later draftees would have less choice (pick a team that's left in a division that's open for instance)....hmm...such a connundrum....

Czar...As far as the option of drafting additional players from the leftover teams...it seemed that the majority leaned toward choosing option A...and I made a decision to finalize that choice before the league was full to try to garner more interest in the league and get it filled as soon as possible....

Since this is my rookie campaign setting up a league...I will learn from my mistakes...and...hopefully...next time...create a theme/league with no options to vote on...just parameters...and fun!!! :D
