That will leave us the rest of the week to finish our teams and get them loaded for a Friday, April 15, 2011 Frenzy. I knew, before starting, an April 8th frenzy was a bit ambitious for this league's draft style.....we have that sprint and stop style :wink: we've survived for 36 seasons and many of the original team are here, so there are really no surprises here.

How did you get baggies and Mac? Let me guess, I did the same thing with Charleston and Stearnes. For some reason I forgot to change my order and bam the draft picked like ten guys at once. Bam, now I have an expensive centerfielder.

Just realized that I been on the clock 4ever in Round 9. I apologize.

No excuse, but you might like to know.
Some of you I've told, that I'm back at school taking classes in Scouting and GM Baseball operations with an eye on getting a happier new career. I'm in the final two weeks of class and it's a bit overwhelming. Part of the class has been to secure informational interviews with Scout or Player Dev people as well as GM or Front office People in MLB. Very Hard to do cold, with no contacts. After about 7 weeks of trying, of all teams to come thru...The Angels, are giving me time with Bill Stoneman, Who is special advisor to the GM and Owner now, some of you may use him in ATG. He was the GM from 1999-2007. And they're getting me my scouting interviews too!

But now that I finally got someone to agree to providing me time with these guys.... I have two papers to write, three interviews to do and then write up, and a final exam! all gotta get done over the next ten days or so. Thought some of you may be interested in the class itself. It's taught me a ton of stuff about the game.

Don't hesitate to text me D when I'm on the clock, I get those and can usually respond quickly if I know, my problem is I get so focused on the Class stuff for the stretch, I don't look up for hours.

Anyway I'm sorry about the delay. Gotta jet. Textmewheni'montheclock!
