Wow! The team scored 24 runs lastnight against Rob's team, guess the offense got tired of me always bragging about the pitching staff.

My bats pulled out of their mini-slump with 52 runs last night.

Sorrry Terp, just bad timing.

Yeah I noticed that bit of batting practice you put on lastnight, I think your guys actually managed the feat of lapping each other on the basepaths!

Terps, welcome to the wonderful world of vet leagues...It can truly be brutal sometimes.

Not to worry Terp, you have that killer schedule where you play 27/30 games on the road. I've always liked it for two reasons. If I escape with a .500 record after the 1st 39 games and remain close to the pack, its all downhill from there. If I'm not the one with it, I find many times it puts the owner of the schedule on panic mode and they weaken their team somewhat, by making a few cuts. Now you didn't....oops, never mind.

Me and Jeff didn't actually play a baseball series lastnight, we just picked the score 4-2 and then flipped to see who was gonna get the 4 runs. Lucky bastidge got me 2/3.

Next time I'll go Rock, Paper, Scissors on his ass!

I'm running a team with one of the schedules at the mo. weeks 2 and 5 I have 18 of 21 games on the road the first mega road trip ended 10-8, the second starts tomorrow. The weird thing with it is that it makes it tough to evaluate how your park is affecting things, after 33 games I had played like 12 games at home or something like that.

At least I enjoy most of those games since I don't get to play Stoney who's been whipping me around for the past 3 months or so.

Well my homefield, which had been so kind to me, has not been so kind lately and the bats that I thought were waking up went right back to sleep! UGH! This game frustrates the sin outta me sometimes.

Well I have figured out my team's problem! My team is 'Politically Correct'!

I mean sure we have an era under 4 but we don't want any other teams to 'feel bad' by dominating them so instead we'll just play .500 ball and then everyone will be happy! :?

For Sale

Postby CHARLESBELL » Mon Apr 03, 2006 9:41 am

Well, I guess the Coney Island Warriors are just not that interested in baseball. All they want to do is hang out at the Ferris Wheel and talk about when that movie made them famous. I'm thinking about signing up the Baseball Furies; at least they knew how to use a bat, even if it was only to crack someone's head.

Will likely be making some major changes so if anyone has a deal in mind let me know.
