Really doesn't matter that you agree with it or not, it is fact. No where does it say you can't, and more so I asked the question myself to make sure.

The only thing that wasn't CLEARLY stated that can reasonably be applied is that everyone end up with 12 players heading into the auto draft. If I wanted to trade my pick in CF round for someones pick in a P round, that would have been my prerogative as well as the other managers, plain and simple.

It's the SAME thing as doing a backroom deal and then trading AFTER the AD... what part of this don't you understand?

It's irrelevant at this point anyway, I'm boxed in with what I was hoping to accomplish.

Additionally, if I want to make the deal, I will regardless... just a matter of whether it is before or after the AD. Unless, you are "not okay" with that too.

I completely agree with Steve on every point he makes. I do not find any way of interpreting the rules we all jointly agreed to use during the draft as supporting your position. Being required to pick in every round is part of the strategy, and as you pointed out earlier, has implications on the budget that are intriguing.

Nothing prevents you from trading after the draft. Looking at our various picks, we can probably make a deal.

Nothing prevents you from creating your own league with different, and wilder rules. I'd probably join.
