I know they're not mascots but I really like the racin' hot dogs in Miller Park...you know like the one that got clubbed by Simon Randall?

Charlie, Welcome to LOTO as well...

Postby ROBERTVOZZA » Tue Jan 10, 2006 1:03 am

I left a message for Bigmahon today and I will send out another note to Riggo. I am surprised ET hasn't signed up. I have never missed a league with him. I'll send 1 more to Penngray as well. I am sure they are all just sitting on a ton of credits.

Still 7 spots left for the last LOTO(And league for me) of 05'. :)

Hoochie-mamma!!!!

Down 0-2 to Penn...take a look at Percial and Shields' stats...then take a look at Iron-Man Pokey! That's right Leader of the bunch with a Whoppin' and smashin' OPS of 1.518! That's right you mess with me you mess with my man Pokey :D

Ya know, it says a lot of how fun it's been this league that down to Penn 0-2 and I am still having fun with Strat...of course if I were up 2-0 I wouldn't be crying as I write this

have got to really sting, Chuck - especially after getting a yeoman performance out of your #9 hitter. Keep the Faith.

Thanks for the congrats, Cummings. I kept waiting for a vet to finally teach me a lesson. Tyber did just that: run differential just don't mean nuthin' if ya can't win close games. Tyber wins 'em all season, I couldn't when it counted.
Congrats to Tyber and Penn! Good luck in the finals!
Thanks a lot to robvoz, Cummings, Tyber, and others for taking the time to show me the ropes the past couple months. I'll probably not play again until late March or April. I'll look for you guys then.

That was truly a great job, mal...

You were the only rookie in the Central and finished with best record. That is a fine accomplishment. We'll see yopu again in the Spring. SWP

Good evening Gents,

Let me first say that you knuckleheads provided one of the most enjoyable leagues I have been in since I started in Strat, and that's saying alot considering all the vet leagues and tournys I have participated in. The Rooks represented themselves exceptionally well as did the Vets.

My hat's off to Cummings and Maligned, you guys were truly great competitors and winning your individual divisions was no small feat.

In all honesty I'm somewhat amazed that my boys made the finals considering the fact that they were outscored by almost 100 runs over the course of the season. Yes I was one of those run differential slappies. This team taught me alot as well.

You guys are all great and I look forward to the opportunity to lock horns with any or all of you in the future.

Now a quick shoutout to Robvoz...Should you still have an opening once I've recieved the credit for this league I'll be more than happy to throw my hat into the ring for your LOTO Consolation league. Just let me know if you've still got an opening.

Okay now I've got to go and offer up prayers at church and light a few candles in preparation for dealing with Master Strat Jedi Penngray.

There will be room, Tyber...

Last time I looked, we still had 6 open. A lot of players are burned out on 05', but i want to play at least this last one. JD Early initially expressed interest and has been AWOL for awhile now.

Bigmahon finally got back to me and said he'd take a spot. If you and the Bigster play, that will be 8 and 4 to go. Still haven't heard from ET, (who always plays) and Penn. Might be interesting to have you and Penn in the same Div. after playing in the Finals together.

I will reiterate Tyber's sentiments on this league -Absolutely one of my 3 favorites in about 70 leagues. Lots of banter and good competition - which makes it all worth it for my 25 bucks. :) SWP
