I wonder how well the new CD game matches the improved bullpen settings and control of the lineups when injuries occur. AFAIK they didn't backport that to the computer game.

Hey Joe,

The bullpen logic is almost the same, but some of the new enhancements are missing. Same goes for the lineup.

But so far my actual 2011 teams have mirrored the results of the sims I have run. Here's hoping they continue here! :D

Interesting. I'd bet the pens play out differntly and injuries will certainly be handled differently. The latter will only be a factor on teams with a lot of injury prone guys however.

The other thing that's still a wild card is what DT is going to do. It's hard to believe he's goign to go the whole season with 2 .50 catchers and Giambi starting at 1b. Not to mention $1.1 mil unused.

It'll be interesting to see what your sims say.

Oh, and how do you sim Semper's ever changing team? ;)
