If you backtrack a bit - all the info on League name and PW are listed in the thread. No need for pT's.

Sounds good to me Rob and I see that Penn left a message that he'll be throwing in with us too. Looks like another seriously tough league...  :D

Yep, Penn is in the Central

So if you want to fight it out for 24 games in the same Division, you'd be the 4th in the Central closing it out, TY. Gotta' go to work.

Okay, I just got my credit so I'll start throwing my draftlist together. With any luck I'll have the team in sometime tonight.

O.K. done with my sulking and destroying of all inanimate objects in the vicinity. :D

Got a really good message from Rob that helped me put it all in the perspective of how fun life still is when you look in the right places...say like strip joints and the likes.

Looking forward to LOTO so as to share another run with you guys.

Congrats again to everbody, pretty good league all around, all sorts of teams with different styles as strengths, patient and careful managers, I really think that a few rolls falling differently and the standings would be much different.

Heard from JD, he's doing very well and is a bit busy right now so it looks like he might not join LOTO but really my hats off to him for an amazing 05, I shared several leagues with him and he's always a tough sport.

Ty, I know that I've paid my compliments many times...since you're getting at least one free credit out of this league I take them all back

You deserve the run to the finals, you've been an example of patience with your team, even when it struggled off the gates.

Penn, well...I guess the road to number one is paved with opposite teams trying to hold on to late leads with Troy Percival on the mound

Kidding aside, congrats Penn, thanks for the classy message you sent me, looking forward to many re-matches.

I remember a thread in the old forums (I think Jeep started it) where people wrote stuff like where you live, marital status, etc... and at one point the question: SOM Nemesis. Most wrote HAL...I'd write "Master Penn" right now - I mean that as a high compliment.

BTW TY, I remember you saying you like leagues where we're all involved, well between this thread and the original in the main board we filled over 20 pages worth of banter...maybe I'll copy them and save them for future read...sure to get plenty of laughs with it.

Any plans on making this a yearly tradition Ty? -vets vs. rooks that is.

All best of luck in the finals Ty and Penn...won't be going to the park to cheer for you guys...heard that robo has turned CHA CHA Municipal Stadium into a night club of Venusian proportions while gearing up for LOTO...guess I'll spend most of my time hanging out with the psychic.

AND...

Postby ROBERTVOZZA » Fri Jan 13, 2006 4:11 pm

If I actually land Randy Johnson this time, I am going to encourage him to grow his hair long again, make corn rows with little beads attached (Like Bo Derek in 10) so when the 6'10" marvel releases that 97 MPH fast ball followed by the killer slider that freezes batters all they will actualle see is the long strands rippling all around his head and fruit flying from his head.

Try and hit that, suckers!!!

Well I'm home from work so now I'll get about to building this new draft list. I'm using a VERY DIFFERENT strategy this time by taking a page out of Rob's playbook... I'm letting the stripper throw the darts while she's sitting in my lap. :D

Okay, my boys are in the Central and ready to go. Just 4 slots left to fill. Excuse me now while I go and tell the stripper that we have to do the draft card all over again from scratch. 8)

I was just looking over the league as a whole Rob and I'll say this much...This league ain't no consolation! This league is forming up to be busting rocks on death row!

What have I gotten myself into?!

I changed my mind. I'm in too. Let's rope 3 more in so we can do waivers Monday or Tuesday and have a week to do trades and such.
