[quote:134862735d="sandlotshrink"][b:134862735d]I am looking for a platoon LF vs. RH's (preferably LH) with decent OB and SLG for NEXT SEASON.

Willing to offer Fausto Carmona, Joel Pineiro, or Jonny Cueto -- all decent SP cards his coming year with prospects for better in the future. [/b:134862735d][/color:134862735d][/size:134862735d][/quote:134862735d]

Send me a message if you think the Gorillas have anyone you need.

I noticed (probably again) that this league is different than most of the rest in that cumulative [b:0ea516607d]ALL-TIME[/b:0ea516607d] records are used to determine the spring free agent draft order, whereas the other leagues usually use the cumulative record of only the preceding season. Which is why the draft orders are so different between the F/A draft and the prospect draft - and why it might be a shock to those that really tanked it this year to see they aren't necessarily at the top of the spring draft.

Is everyone ok with this? I don't recall it ever being an issue before, but there's such a wide discrepancy this time that it just doesn't look right - but according to the rules it is.

Comments?

Sounds good to me. Even though that leaves me with the last pick, I feel honored AND challenged to keep it for as long as I can.

It helps prevent against "tanking" and "stacking" which was (and is) what a lot of your subtle rules changes were designed to do Marc.

Just another fine example!! :D

Congratulations to Sandy for winning his first GMKL title!

And for completing his "Keeper League Grand Slam," a title in the USKLs, HCKL and GMKL.

Now that's a manager!

Thx :)

I'd like to give a shout out to Marc Pelletier aka Luckyman aka Marcus Wilby

He helped me to understand the many nuances of the new bullpen structure which I believed was an asset.

I'd like to think that part of being a good manager is soliciting advice and wisdom from other good (in this case great) managers.

Welcome aboard Chris - glad to have you join us.

I'll be sending out the roster updates shortly and will need an email address I can use for you.

If you have any questions at all everybody here is more than willing to help. We've got a great bunch of owners here, and some of the best SOM players online - and they can get quite "passionate" at times. But it's all just competitive intensity.
