And while we're on the subject of bad dice, I've been unlucky in 1-run games & 6 games under my expected W/L, BigM has been mildly unlucky overall at -1 but that's pretty much within normal range, but BigAl has had horrible luck. He's a full 6 games under his expected with an excellent RS/RA, and right now out of a playoff spot when he should have the 2nd-best record in the league.

I think Jeeps success has more to do with other things than luck ... I think communication is vital, and all of his players have Southern Accents, which means they can understand each other perfectly, but it is much harder for our teams to understand what his players are saying. Advantage goes to his team because we cannot read/hear his signs & chatter because of their Accents. :D

This would have been an awesome season to play twice like we talked about earlier. Anyone still up for playing two simultaneously?

I wouldn't mind jumping into another league with the same team that I started with. I'm REALLY curious to see what would happen.

We have to establish some rules about it I think. So, what moves can we make, and when can they be made, etc?

While we're talking about Pythags, when's the last time one of my teams has out performed one? It's been a long while I think.

Wow, look at this line for Downs v RHB. That's just ridiculous even if you roll on the hitter's card every single time!

BF....H BB K HR OAVG OPB
115 42 8 13 6 .365 .435

His numbers in the average park v RHB is:

oBP Ave slug
.165 .165 .281

Pujols 238 v RHP
Verlander .270 v RHB
Werth hoverin at .240
Wilson 67% on Saves and a 5.50 ERA

Really? Your four most expensive player just SUCK?

Not going to win a lot of games when that happens....

If i may, it seems to me some amongst us tend to underplay or underestimate the importance of the dice in general.

Not Me Smokee.

Let's take tonight for example, I lose two one run games because of a 1-3 RFX and a 1-2 SS x. :( Oh, and in one of the games, I only get 3.2 out of Verlander because he gets hurt.

Gee, no bad luck there.

Wow, Jeep is 24-7 in one runners. That's a lot of well timed die rolls.

I liken it to poker. You can position yourself to do well with math, but if the dice are gonna make an example of you then might as well stay home.

I love how that gets brought up every day. :)

Take a look. My "non one-run game" record is 39-32. That's a .549 win perc. which is still better than all but one team.

So how many games do you win with a 1-2 roll? Two sides to a coin or maybe it's 6 sides to a dice.
