Yeah, in the div I'm simming out closer to 1050 runs than 1100. Anyway, u guys get the point - no question I will score, but will my pitching hold up....

In simming our div, without waivers having run of course, I am getting around 90 wins per season, WM/JTJ & Hawk somewhere in the low to mid 80s, and Penn trails badly most of the time, a reflection of his "who the hell am I drafting" comment I believe....

Niners - After all the suspense, I see you decided to keep Alou and pass on Bay. Hawkeye didn't wait long to make that move permanent on your part. What made you change your mind?

Overall, we were very active in the waiver process. I kept telling Jet during the live draft not to worry about cap, but in the end we had to make a lot of moves to balance cap and team needs. We'll see if the moves pay off!

Silver - Thanks for cutting Gonzalez. Not sure if we made the right move in picking him up or not. He and Vizquel are an expensive platoon!

Korkie - I've built the JTJ ratings for my division but don't know if I'll have the time to get the rest of the league done by Monday. Too many weekend activities planned. I'll give it a shot, though. 8)

WM - lol. I was also looking at yet another expensive platoon there (isn't that what $100M leagues are about?) and decided to just go with Crosby since he can only be injured 3 gms and hits RH better. I also wanted a 3B/DH who could hit LHPs and had good clutch, so Felipe fit the bill. He has been having a nice sim run.....

Can't do any sims, but I got a "feel" that my squad will be decent. I guess time will tell. :)

The injury rating on Bay put me off. I just can't bring myself to grab a guy with a higher injury than on a 3-11. Also one of the reasons why I didn't grab Werth in waivers as a platoon mate for Hunter vs LH pitchers. Instead I grabbed the 3 defense Michaels. It helps only having one LH starter in the division though. :)

Korkie - I forgot that my wife and I are going out of town through Tuesday. No JTJ ratings from me. Maybe Joe can get something out.

Niners - Understand about injuries scaring you away from Bay. Depends on how good your backups are, I guess.

Oops, thought I posted last night, but must not have hit submit :?:

In any case, we're happy with our offense, I think we *should* score runs, our pitching needs a bit of help so if anyone is looking to trade a front line SP for some hitting, we'll listen.

Kork, Don't know if I'll get to the ratings before the season starts. I hate having to redo everything after the last minute moves that are sure to come.

Should be interesting to see how the extra $ makes a difference.
