[quote:492dea146b="keyzick"]Actually you're not the only one...thisisdan is in the same situation. I don't know that I would have taken anyone different. Just an observation since I thought we had to still draft a team that fits the TSN guidelines.
Besides, if one of your guys were not carded, you'd have to replace him with a 0.50 guy, so drafting extra players to replace him wouldn't work.[/quote:492dea146b]
True but just because I replace him with a .50 player doesn't mean I have to use him, does it? I didn't see that in the rules. We draft 28, doesn't say we have keep all 28, it only says we can't replace an uncarded guy with anything higher than .50 guy.
There is nothing that says, you have to keep all 28 players active all the time.
Instead I drafted an insurance policy and if he doesn't get a card I won't replace him at all and I'm out 1 draft pick. If he [i:492dea146b]does[/i:492dea146b] get a card I wasted a pick on an extra pitcher. I'm out a pick either way and the rest of you have 28 men (Except dan, gotta check and see what pitcher of his I missed) and I still only have 27, so you all have an advantage over me in that reguard.
I think this becomes an issue because dan originaly wrote the .50 replacement rule for a 25 man roster and didn't regard what having 28 draft picks would do to that rule.
Soon as we agreed to 28, I simply saw 3 extra picks to use to take a chance on a guy who might not get a card.
Sorry if I inturpreted that wrong, and if dan wants me to cut a pitcher I guess I will...
BTW, he won't be ruling on anything to soon he sent me a PM for his stadium 'cause he's gonna be tied up most of the day.
