Otherwise, I'm sure Quickie would hire the great [b:3014123954]Johnny "[i:3014123954]the steal sign doesn't work[/i:3014123954]" Cochrane[/b:3014123954] to defend his caught base thieves but Johnny is a little under the weather these days. :wink:

In any case, I'm glad I didn't hire Victor Martinez this season as he'd make Mamma Cass look like Flo Joyner on the track paths. :D

Yeah, Semp, lol. I think my entire team was put on FBI's most wanted the night before the game.

Um, like I said earlier, this club is definitely an experiment & even making playoffs may be overachieving. I saw results from 1st series & quickly downgraded from "Very Aggressive" to "Aggressive" on the steals. Have never done anything higher than "Normal" and have not had time to sim this league in this go-round...

Like I mentioned yesterday, I placed no stock in the first series of the season, and whatyaknow I get swept last night. And QK's players remembered who their Mgr. was and went out and had a sweep of their own. I hope my squad is more like the first night's squad, and not last night's squad.

Back on the road this evening, my first 9 games away from the friendly confines.

damn was away for the last 5 days and didnt get an opportunity to view my team since the draft ran so didnt get to set any waiver claims or the lineups or manager settings and I sure did pay for it in the first 6 games.Semper threw 3 righties at me and Hal chose to start Patterson in 2 of the 3 games in CF with Jones DHing(still shaking my head over that one)Sexson did get a start in the 2nd game with Patterson sitting out.Punto starts game 2 at SS over Rollins??.Oh well maybe I can right the ship and make a few minor adjustments to the squad and make sure that didnt doesnt leadoff again :roll: :oops:
