The Hoods (7-2) continue their dominance of the east with 2 wins over fellow rook Phanatics, but may be feeling a little pressure from the 5-4 Samurai, who took advantage of the Edumacators home field to win two games. Edumacators are 1-5 at home, and many fans are planning a rally to set up a human chain to close off the stadium and force the team to play the rest of their games on the road.
In the central Yo Mamas are wondering what hit them as the sashaying (no fair using my word, et!) Cha Chas sent the Doh! Mamas packing after taking all three games.
In the west the veteran BlueRiders delivered a lesson to the Disco Balls, break dancing on their home turf to 4-3, 4-2, and 4-2 wins. The Canucks54 cemented a vets power play with 2 wins over the Padowans, including an interesting 2-0 game #3 in which the two teams sent nearly $35M in pitching to the mound (Zambrano, Benitez, and Rivera for Canucks; Schmidt and Lidge - who lost the game - for Padowans). This seen in a Ruatha Weyr local paper: "Has anyone seen our baseball team? We heard that the season had started but where's our team?" The BlueRiders play their first home series tonight against the Padowans.
Rumors that a rival newspaper, the National SOM Enquirer, has hired tha flamboyant gossip columnist known only as "Mr. Cummings" to spice up their baseball coverage are unfounded. Not true. You read it here. I hope you're reading it here. Oh, never mind. Give me that Enquirer, I just can't stop laughing.
