Well, we've been schizo, win 2, lose 2, win 3, lose 2. Nice consistency there eh? ;)

Maybe it's just the Wings who cause us trouble?

In any case, we need Bell to pitch a LOT better than he has to have a chance this year.

Any odds on how many games chin music is going to go with $3+ mil of cap room sitting around? Makes life a little easier for the other Central teams. :(

Not sure why he's dropping players when he has cap sitting there. Something doesn't seem right here.

Hey Jeep,

We got you for two last night, but check out how you scored to win the first game:

[code:1:70dfc963bc]
*** BOTTOM OF INNING 8 ***
0 R.Howard 4 Walk b-1
SUBSTITUTE P - Heath Bell
0 1 N.Markakis 1 Double (LF) 1-3 b-2
0 23 C.Jones 4 Walk b-1
SUBSTITUTE PH- Nick Punto
SUBSTITUTE P - C.J. Wilson
0 123 N.Punto 5 Force Play (1B) 3-o 2-3 1-2 b-1
1 123 L.Castillo 6 Force Play (3B) 3-o 2-3 1-2 b-1
2 123 J.McDonald 4 Walk 3-H 2-3 1-2 b-1
2 123 K.Lofton 1 Wild Pitch 3-H 2-3 1-2
2 23 K.Lofton 1 Wild Pitch 3-H 2-3
2 3 K.Lofton 3 Strike Out b-0 [/code:1:70dfc963bc]

Can you imagine if you were the manager in real life? You get the bases loaded, with no out, then you manage to get force outs on the next to plays only to see Heath Bell (a 1-10 wp) walk McDonald  for the go ahead run and then throw back-to-back WPs to completely blow the game open! Ouch.

In any case, we're happy to take two from you.

I'm here, still trying to figure out which team I am: the one that swept the [i:17358f3d8b]Bucks[/i:17358f3d8b], or the one that got swept by the [i:17358f3d8b]Music[/i:17358f3d8b].

I need some Jet Rating validation to ease my mind (or antagonize it).

I'm still here, trying to figure out how a good start led to me losing 7 in a row at one point. Also trying to figure out why Pedro Feliz was brought in as a defensive sub at C the other night. He must have been facing the wrong way when he caught that game, that would explain the passed ball on a pitch that I think was a strike.
Also puzzling is how Renteria gets hurt when he wasn't hitting, fielding, or running. Take away James Shield's last game which was a shutout, and I strongly believe the computers here replaced his 2007 card with Adam Eaton.
Derek Lee finally started hitting, after I had to embarrass him by dropping him way down the lineup. He got mad, stomped into the GM's office, and took a swing at him. Not surprisingly, he fanned on that one too. He wasn't suspended, we figured him playing and looking up at the scoreboard with that .125 average was better punishment.

I thought I drafted Felipe Lopez as a backup infielder, which was important as Renteria gets a lot of hang nails, but I think I accidentally got George Lopez instead. It certainly has been funny watching him try to swing a bat. At least he has nice hair.

Ray King as done pretty well, but I think it is because he hides the ball so good. It's easy to do though when it's coming out of a size 54 shirt. It is true, his yearly meal money is used up already. I'm not crazy about the way he looks at Coco Crisp when he has gone an hour without eating. After Coco Crisp got his only hit and scored a run in game 4, Ray celebrated by pouring milk over his head after he crossed the plate. Oh sure, he said he thought it was gatorade, but that doesn't explain why he did it with a napkin tucked into his shirt.

Well I did take 2 out of 3 from my buddy, Woodbury Bosox last night. It was almost a sweep, but my since-demoted closer couldn't handle the pressure. He folded like a cheap lawn chair.

Spock,

Nice summary of your team. Sounds like they are keeping you entertained. As for Feliz, that's always the danger of carrying 3 catchers. That and now both of your "real" catchers can get injured at the same time. Hal will never put all your catchers out at the same time. Expect to see Pedro behind the plate again this year! ;)

You got to tell Renteria to stop lifting weights (those diminishing 12 oz curls) between at bats. He's not a power hitter anyway and you can't afford to lose him and play either Hanley or Felipe at SS!

JPav,

Well, you've been good enough to be 15-9, but how in the heck did you get swept by chin? Is he still sitting there with cap to spend?

I'll get to the ratings, but I'd like to have a bit more data on the RP usage before I put it together. (Plus a little bit of free time!)

What puzzled me was, I got Pedro Feliz as a backup 3rd basemen, and have him listed as a defensive replacement there. One of my other catchers might have been hurt the game that happened, but the way I set it up it shouldn't have happened.

He has $3 mil sitting there. I thought I could throw (literally) [i:93561ceb44]any[/i:93561ceb44] three righties at him and win no problem. His team is atrocious vs. RHP.

But I lost the same way I always do. HAL gives me all pitcher card rolls (his starting SPs aren't bad) and gives my opponent all hitters card rolls.

You think being swept by the [i:93561ceb44]Music[/i:93561ceb44] would be frustrating, but wait...

I have a team that started w/ a 4-17 record while hitting .300, .400, .500 (BA, OBP, SLG) w/ [i:93561ceb44]positive[/i:93561ceb44] net runs!! You have to wonder how *stuff* like that is even possible.
