let's hope we don't get burned by TSN, at least I hope so...im no good for an August 1st draft...
even if it comes out thursday, that gives us almost no time to peruse cards...although in my case that's a benefit against THIS competition.

I'm hoping they come out with ATG IV NO later than Thursday. A Friday release would really rush things as far as having time to look the cards over. We have Minnie's state and I'm pretty sure he'll check in before Friday so I'm going to use tomorrow night's (Tuesday) lotto draw for draft position.

... another releasing ATG 4.0 ... and it all could released tomorrow smoothly and on schedule ...
... but as a contingency, I think we should be prepared to push our Draft date back a couple weeks to Aug. 8th at earliest if the new cards do not come out in time to peruse ahead of time ... particularly in our fast paced format of just 5 minutes per turn!
That's just one more reason why I didn't think we should tie ourselves to this release ... plus it just adds to the pressure on the TSN and SOM folks to push it all out there ... unless, of course, they're trying to create a kind of a stampede over the new release ... first with all this teasing ... but then demurring with no exact date of release ([i:86118b0f59]e.g.,[/i:86118b0f59] 12 Noon Wed. July 23rd).
Words from Bernie to the effect that "it's ready ... we're just making sure by some final testing of everything now" would be reassuring ... but they didn't even put prices, or a lot of the important ratings, on the few new cards they've teased us with.

Points well taken Jon. My biggest fear is that it would continue to get pushed back while they worked the last minute bugs out of it. Lets just wait and see what happens for now but in the meantime, here are the results of last night's lotto draw for draft position. I can see the Quicksilver Gods are smiling on our newest champ already. Theres a word for that! W--S-L Anyone care to buy a vowel?? :lol:
