It's an interesting theme and some unusual teams will be created as a result. If people are scattered hither and yon, it may be better to wait until everyone's ready for action again. It just seems like schedules are working against us.

I vote for just waiting til the end of the month. No hurry-- it could be a fun theme-- let's stick with it.

To a mouse-- Robert Burns

[quote:e9718698d3="agabriel"]The best laid plans of mice and men sometimes go awry.[/quote:e9718698d3]

Wee, sleeket, cowran, tim'rous beastie,
O, what panic's in thy breastie!
Thou need na start awa sae hasty,
Wi' bickering brattle!
I wad be laith to rin an' chase thee,
Wi' murd'ring pattle!

I'm truly sorry Man's dominion
Has broken Nature's social union,
An' justifies that ill opinion,
Which makes thee startle,
At me, thy poor, earth-born companion,
An' fellow-mortal!

I doubt na, whyles, but thou may thieve;
What then? poor beastie, thou maun live!
A daimen-icker in a thrave 'S a sma' request:
I'll get a blessin wi' the lave,
An' never miss't!

Thy wee-bit housie, too, in ruin!
It's silly wa's the win's are strewin!
An' naething, now, to big a new ane,
O' foggage green!
An' bleak December's winds ensuin,
Baith snell an' keen!

Thou saw the fields laid bare an' wast,
An' weary Winter comin fast,
An' cozie here, beneath the blast,
Thou thought to dwell,
Till crash! the cruel coulter past
Out thro' thy cell.

That wee-bit heap o' leaves an' stibble,
Has cost thee monie a weary nibble!
Now thou's turn'd out, for a' thy trouble,
But house or hald.
To thole the Winter's sleety dribble,
An' cranreuch cauld!

But Mousie, thou are no thy-lane,
In proving foresight may be vain:
[b:e9718698d3]The best laid schemes o' Mice an' Men,
Gang aft agley,[/b:e9718698d3]
An' lea'e us nought but grief an' pain,
For promis'd joy!

Still, thou art blest, compar'd wi' me!
The present only toucheth thee:
But Och! I backward cast my e'e,
On prospects drear!
An' forward, tho' I canna see,
I guess an' fear!

Not sure what's going on at this point. I'll put in some proxies and see what happens.

One dumb question. How come the card images get displayed on the Major Deegan's draft site and not on Diamond Dope?

Petro, only the "top" card images are shown on both DD and MD's draft site. These are the same ones available publicly. Only the stat lines for the other players are shown, not the whole card image.

MD is linking to TSN's site. I believe TSN checks for a cookie and allows you to see the cards if you're logged in.

I save off the data to actually view the card without linking to the TSN site, but I don't do that for the non-public cards. However, I do provide a link to the TSN card image on DD.

As far as this league goes, I think we're in a holding pattern at the moment.

The draft is delayed indefinitely. We'll need to re-group.

[i:1abda124cd]So, we try to get this thing knocked out in the next two days.[/i:1abda124cd] We can do this. Think positive thoughts.[/quote:1abda124cd]

Are the two days over yet? We must be finished. :P

Always with them negative waves, Moriarty. Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

It's all Moriarty's fault. He wasn't thinking positive thoughts.
