Kramer - There may be a slight advantage for the teams at the bottom of the live draft to see what players were picked in their division. However, there probably really isn't a huge advantage.

If I opened up everyone to join, we'd still be waiting on loopsandrolls.

Aren't we set up as a standard $80,000,000 league? Which means that no one can see what our draft list is until after the draft. Or are we a live draft league?

Yes, we are a standard $80,000,000 league. I was trying to say that if you were picking towards the bottom, and you already see the 3 teams in your division picked, Peavy, H Ramirez and Holliday, you might pick a strong RHP and a small ball park. If I change division set up, one might change their pick and/or ballpark. Or, I may just be thinking waaayy to deep into all of this.

Bottom line, it's really strange that we haven't heard from loopsandrolls. I can only guess he went away for the weekend.

I love theme leagues but every theme league that I enter always has one or two guys who just seem to disappear right in the middle of the draft. Ours has been no exception. It's something that I just dont understand. When I join one of these leagues, I try to be considerate of everyone else in the league and make sure that I make my pick timely or else send a list of players to be chosen via proxy (or even announce to skip my pick in advance so as not to hold everyone up). Am I just too considerate or would this be considered normal behaviour? Am I crazy or is it rude to disappear for a couple of days during the formation of a league?

This is why I hate live drafts. It never fails. At this point it doesn't matter, we won't be playing this week anyway. I feel obligated to continually check back to make sure I'm not wasting everyone else's time.
I really don't think the division composition matters one way or another as to competetive advantage of one team over the next. Hurry up and wait! Tick, tock,......

***Update #2 - Loopsandrolls somehow posted his team between the time I told the new guy he was in (and he should load his team) and now. In the meantime, the new guy loaded his team. I have contacted bromberry asking him to pull his team out of the league.***

I think maybe everybody has probably done this (I have), to change would make guys already in league have to pull back out, make change, and then re-enter. I think there is a draft list posted during waiver period.
