We could BUT....have you ever slow drafted on DD? It's painful! Just knowing the draft is there your compelled...yes...verily I say COMPELLED to constantly check the draft thread on it's progress and when there is none, unless you set the clock, it can cause anything from PDTS, fatigue, nausea, the shakes, the runs, itching, dandruff, ED, depression, anxiety attacks and hair loss! Personally I'm willing to risk all of that except I hate dandruff! However, that being said, I'll set a number at 6 managers who want to go ahead and start early, we'll do so. You and Doug are two, so just 4 more need to hop in with their .02.
In the meantime, I just heard from the powers that be at TSN Headquarters that they will oblige us in starting the league on Monday the 31st! Could be because I mentioned Mort and Blatz in the same sentence.

Something else to consider is if we do get several rounds in and maybe more, do you want to tie up a potentially exciting Saturday night at 7:30 just to do 1 or 2 rounds? I think I would rather be drinking Blatz at the Boom Boom Room instead...that's my .02[/quote:2e95927e23]
Well then ... I AM confused again ... because this is the FAST AGHAST 6 chatroom, isn't it ... and I thought ... at least while I can still think ... that we were doing the usual ILC actually live draft with 5 minutes per person ... with David on Trombones AND Pix at a Glance ... and me and Meat trading barbs ... with my turn always coming on a brand new jumping page break -- so I incessantly find out I have at most 72.3 seconds to pick ... instead of the allotted 300 seconds ... :shock:
Matter of fact ... dontcha just sense that Sir Simon 31 is gonna Shanghai Maddux this time with the #2 pick ... Dugger after all finds himself "buried" on the extended corner at the 11 spot ... he'll be lucky to get a Beazley or a Drysdale in this first round ... Oh ... where is that Boom Boom Room this week anyway?

Not to put a target on anybody's back but looking over the last 5 drafts for this league, the power players seem to be Mort, he's meat, PJ and The Rivs! Very consistant putting playoff teams together! Great job guys! :D
