The Return of FRKL - Season I 2006 - Season Underway!!

OK, when I wasn't looking somebody taught my team to roll over and play dead. I never liked that trick. :(

Big series tonight, Jeep. 6 out with 18 to play...I've lost many leads greater than that...you're also only 4 out of the Wild Card...

You could either be right back in it or...

It must be a sweep on my part, 2 of 3 won't do anything. My experiences tell me, however, that once my squad starts a downward spiral in the final couple of weeks it continues that spiral for the rest of the season. Wouldn't be surprised if I even lost hold of second place. :?

My first award of the season is in: I've won a Boy Scout Merit Badge for excellence in "folding up a tent." Obviously a dubious award though.

Looks like I better get the headlines up to date - should have a couple more posted later tonight. :)

Well unfortunately my nice little road sweep last night falls into the "too little too late" category, most likely anyway. I've only got one more series with Neon Rain (odd it seems that only 1 series in the last five I would play them) in which I'd need a sweep and some more help. I figure to have a chance I would need to go 11-1, at least 10-2.

Regardless I doubt Jack is taking anything for granted, maybe I can make this close if only to make Jack sweat a little.

This lead is very blowable for me, Jeep, don't despair...I'm sure it will go down to the wire.

Way to respond guys to the pressure. That's the kind of players I want on my team. Damnit, if I had wanted scared puppies I'd went to the kennel and adopted one. :x

Sorry for yelling there, but that had been brewing. I'm trading every single one of these bastards. :x

P.S. I told you a few days ago I bet this team couldn't even hold onto 2nd place, much less 1st. To heck with trading, I'm releasing every single one of these inept sons of b$tches.

I didn't see any drops yet! :P

Seriously Jeeper, aren't you being just a tad unkind to your players.

I mean, we have been in a slide for like ever and Chuck keeps nudging his nose closer, but we just keep having our nightly prayer sessions and we even hired the Sports Psychologist that was fired from the New York Knights several seasons ago.

Hopefully last night's winning session was the beginning of something. :)
