Yeah... not really giving anything away here, but I also intended to not have many players by now. I have three, and have bid on MANY more. I have had two things in mind from the beginning. 1)target specific players I want and 2)bid for bargains.

I have actually ended up with one player I really had no intention of getting, but I liked the deal too much to pass up.

have 3 top sluggers and a ragtag bunch of scrubs

money for maybe 1 more good player

i will have the worst bench, starting pitching and 6-9 hitters in league

I am hoping to fill-up my pitching staff with decent arms for the minimums, like maybe many of you are. If I had to pick anyone's shoes right now, I'd pick DonFESQ's I think. Would be nice to have some more pocket change to throw at the bevy of talent left out there.

I have only one player I really wanted - Speaker - the rest were "impulse buys" while at the register paying for Tris.

BobBoone says stick to your tactics. I would if I knew what my tactics were! Not sure if I like where I'm going or not. I've payed less than card price for all my guys so far, but I'm not sure if going with strong pitching is the right thing to do. We shall see.

If I had stuck to my tactics I probably would have paid $20M for Mickey instead I got Bonds for $13M leaving me $7M for steroids and assorted drugs. I will leave a few bucks to get Jimmie his Booze and I will save $2.49 for some Preparation H for you know who!!

It has been fun.

I too have a few players I want (obviously Kiner was one) and the rest I'll just wait and see and hope I can pick up for pennies, because the $80 mil cap is going to leave some pretty good talent available for next to nothing.

I'd certainly be willing to do this again, but if I could do it over I'd consider putting the bidding cap up to $100m or even $200m and see what happens.

Just a thought, but if everyone is in agreement, we could start up a new leauge, standard rules, while we are in the process of putting this one together.

I would be in any $80M or $100M format, DH or NON DH. Just not interested in $200M

So, count me in.
