[i:cdace98edf][b:cdace98edf]Smoltz(3-2) gave Sacrificial a solid outing. He went 8 and 2/3 innings
allowing 9 hits and 3 walks.[/b:cdace98edf][/i:cdace98edf]
Solid reporting by the crack TSN staff...failed to mention he gave up 6 runs. What would be a non-solid outing?

Lambs won the game and took the series; looks like some "home town" journalism...oh, but United was home!?!

[b:71913cacba]Important News:[/b:71913cacba]

We have just discovered that half the land our stadium was built on is radioactive, and the other half is sacred Indians burial grounds (where bad Cleveland Indian fans go to die). Therefore we will be unable to play any further games at home.

We hereby request the right to play all our games on the road, preferrably at Great American Ballpark.

Happy Easter Everyone!!!

Nice Post Semper. You too AT!

Day, Unfortunately, the BS by Reyes weren't in the 9th, Hal won't leave a guy in there who gets "tired" in one of those situations in any case. Thanks for the offer however.

AT, email me at Iwon and I'll hook you up with the 80's stuff. Maybe your 2006 teams are sinking because you haven't gotten the ratings yet. ;)

Okay -

Dice / Luck / Skill.

What gives with Hammond and Thompson? 8 HRs yielded in 15 innings combined.

I thought because HAL loves to pitch Hammond on the road and to RHBs but he seems to yield more HRs to LHBs

Otherwise, Thompson has been a damn arsonist in the bullpen! No matter what controls I place on him, HAL disregards and still tosses him out there. His card ain't that bad -

My Road winning ways continue!

Can anyone tell me why HAL would decide to defensively replace Texeira??? :? :? He's a 1e3!! He got defensively removed for Mike Lowell who doesnt even have a 1b rating!

I definitely do not have Texeira marked as 'remove for defensive sub with lead'. Furthermore he is marked as do not PH for (both sides). So exactly what reasoning did HAL use to decide a 1e3 needed to be defensively substituted for by a guy with no 1b rating?? You think HAL would have at least used a player with a 1b rating?? What is the standard defensive rating if you play a position that you're not rated for??

a 5 with the highest E rating, in this case a 5e30

That's a weird one, I could maybe see putting lowel in at 3b and moving youklis to 1st, but not with the settings you have checked.

Let Bernie know, cause that looks like a glitch to me.

at least you still won.

One thing I will say though I think SUBBED DEFENSIVELY in HAL speak means pinch hit for sometimes, especailly if that was the initial move and HAL decides to leave the PINCH hitter in the game.

I still can't imagime why Tex would be lifted though, if you have those settings. The only way he should come out is an injury. :? :?:

I took a look and do not see how in the world Tex coulda been lifted. He wasn't PH for, HAL I don't think subs defensively 'till the 8th, but regardless he shouldn't have been replaced defensively anyway. Very weird.

Meanwhile, despite two early sweeps my team has steadily climbed back to the 500 mark. They're playing well, let's hope the trend continues. :)
