hmm....... i just went back and looked at my team.... can't say i'm going for prospects. can't say i'm "going for it either"......

i'd have to say i'm not going for the championship this year... but am trying to put a somewhat competitive team on the field while eying the future somewhat.... i believe that drafting a core of guys with proven success is the way to go about building a franchise....... especially in a league like this with multiple FA drafts and a "prospect" list.

it'll be real nice when in the future we can have guys on the 40 man who dont' have cards for the current year.

don't know if any of this makes sense but it's what happens when we stop mid draft for the weekend...... my wife often says i say too little with too many words :shock:

I have been happy with this league's rules since the beginning; I don't think I ever saw any different from those posted at the top of the page, but I can see that Qk and others might have had earlier versions in mind. I just went with what was written at the top of the thread, and being a bear of small brain, I've been back there quite a few times already.

Since KD seems to be insisting on democracy, I am prepared to embrace the compromise decision on the second proposal; it certainly juices up those final rounds. I am glad Qksilver proposed it.

I am very very unhappy with this development. I have drafted my current team based on the rules that were set forth from the beginning. How can we change the rules now!?!? I brought this very issue up at around round #3 in our draft when there would have been time to change things. And the rules were clarified for everyone to see. and NOBODY said a PEEP, so the draft proceeded. now we are at round 20 and you want to change things? ridiculous. If you insist on ******* around with the rules. Set the rules in place and then re start the draft from scratch. Totally unreasonable. If I would have thought this COULD be the case I would have drafted much differently. WE ARE HALF WAY THROUGH THE FREAKING DRAFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would really feel differently if we did not go over all of this already..
