Guys, Joe is right!

I am literally headed out the door to take the wife to see pianist Marvin Hamlisch at the University of Georgia this evening which is about a 1 hour drive from Atlanta. I'll post two picks and a ballpark before 11 pm Eastern tonight. I sincerely apologize for the delay until later this evening.

If it helps, sadly I have no plans and will be around all evening if anybody wants to leave proxies with me. I won't open em unless I need to. Otherwise, I will delete them. Let me know if I can help...even if this is the sloooow portion of the draft!

Hamlisch has won an Oscar, a Tony, a Grammy and even the Pulitzer Prize. I was happy enough when he played The Way We Were, the Joplin piece he adapted for The Sting, songs from A Chorus Line and Nobody Does It Better, the song he wrote for Carly Simon in James Bond's The Spy Who Loved Me. Not a bad career, eh?

I was off the boards all day. Only 1 pitcher in 35 picks so far. Hmmm, let me take a look-see and I'll get something posted soon.

Always surprises me how many of you guys are up at this time of morning. ME, I understand. I've worked 3rd shift for years, and I stay on my schedule even on weekends, when I don't work. So my hours are counter to the normal world. But shouldn't the rest of you kids be in bed? :)

I am by nature a night owl no matter what schedule I'm on. I keep thinking I'm missing something somewhere in the world if I go to bed early. However, as my old boss used to say..."you play, you pay!"

Not a very good night of sleep, Michael. Don't you have a little one in the house? Is that why you are up?

I hear you, Simon. I normally only get around 5-5 1/2 hours of sleep a day, and that is often broken up in to two shifts. I am so used to feeling like a zombie that I forget what rested feels like. :)
