I'm gonna let it slide, and say that's part of the earlier deal cause it's a technicality and it will make things work out,

technically he doesnt have a 5th round pick to trade. he lost it in the last trade with you.

In the future, this the way I will rule on these types of matters, you can't trade picks you don't have.

Span is who I was targeting at 3rd when klx22 jumped up into thisisray's slot.

To me the HARDEST slot to fill in a lineup is a leadoff hitter that can hit both sides, play the field as a 2 or better, and be an * base stealer, Span was the ONLY guy in this draft that fit that bill and the one piece my squad is missing. I'm [b:05ec1e2e76]really[/b:05ec1e2e76] bummed.
I had hoped some of the other "name" players, (who shall remain namelss in this post) might have gone off the board in a few of the first picks knocking Span down, but nope you guys are just drafting cards, most with good long term potential too, but cards none the less :cry:

I,too am not happy about this "trade" especially after niners explained that Ray would lose that 5th round pick after his previous trade.So in essence he was allowed to trade something he no longer had.I guess we all will be allowed a trade like this in the future?

Yup I've thought about it some more, and now with a complaint on record, I don't want to set the precdent. [b:3adbae0f86]I am Disallowing this trade,[/b:3adbae0f86] Wells goes back to thisisray and Hawkins is returned to klx22 along with his prospect pick.

There is [b:3adbae0f86]no[/b:3adbae0f86] 5th round pick to trade, Hawk is right if you had made the deal prior to my posting about ray not having the pick, then maybe I could allow it.

Personally I wasn't looking beyond this year for my 1st rounder and Span was the missing piece, now, by not getting him my whole outlook on my team and my strategy are radically altered.

I also think he's more than a 1 year wonder, and if the twins didn't think so too, their wouldn't have been rumors all winter about Young being on the block.
