ATG 5 auction bidding

I will (sigh) live unhappily with what is. I simply was playing with a new set of cards without realizing the implications. I should never have joined an ATG auction without ever having played ATG, that is setting myself up,
I want folks to understand, i am not upset because I didn't take care of my money or I didn't have a plan, if that was true then I would be getting what I deserve, but I am upset because I thought I had a plan and a budget, and then found that my budget was not going to work at all because of one rule implication I never quite figured out.

I am going to make one more shot at fixing this though.

How about if each of us who wish could put one of our players back up for auction? That would be enough to give me the maneuvering room I need, and would let others fix their one mistake.

I have made bidding mistakes for sure but I have also managed to make my bids based on everyones finances. Changing rules now would kick the **** out of my team and probably everyone elses. I am still not clear on your problem since there is only 4 teams with more money than litangel!
litangel you have some great players and enough money to manuever around most teams. First time playing you are doing fine just don't take the players I want and we will all be in good shape! :lol:

All is fine here - just remember - if the openning bid is .67m or more COUNT ME OUT :). So keep making them .67 / .71 / .76 / .80 :).

I am afraid that allowing any changes of any sort would be a poor idea. I have also paid way way too much for some players ( 6 mil on Morgan and Maris alone). I am not even sure if I like my team (don't tell Jet40 that I said that cus I told him that I love my team, and I want him to be envious of it)!

When the shoe is on the other foot Litangel, you will love this rule. Just for the record, I think you are doing fantastic considering that you have not played ATG before. My first ATG team lost 14 of their first 15 games!

ya, you really don't need to sweat it litangel. All the guys you will be drafting are only going to be backups, who will see next to 0 ABs. And anyway, there are a lot of good players around the 5 mill mark. Especially as backups.

I am done being whiny. When I look at, my team is not horrible, they are just not as good as they would have been, had I realized the impact of the rules. This is my 3rd auction, and I don't feel like I have done a good job at any of them, but next auction, watch out!
