At least Smoltz pitched well, but Madson gets brought in to face LHB for some reason with predictable results. Hermanson gives up a 3 run HR to Lofton (?) Yeesh. Hey, he's got 1.2 on his card so... :roll: it had to happen to us.

Oh well, at least these weren't one game losses, just games that were close until Madson (?) and Hermanson gave them up. <shrug>

Seriously, I am happy to be as I said, "scraping along". I wasn't happy with how the draft led me but I tried to piece together a competitive club. Fingers crossed that it continues.

In another league last night I had an injury to Andruw Jones. My B/U OF (for all 3 OF spots cause all three are 600 P.A. guys/one an iron guy) is Repko, whom is good defensively as you all know. Bay is my regular LF. So when Andruw went down in Game 1 what did HAL do for that game and the next two?

Simply put Repko in CF, right?

He moves Bay to CF and puts Feliz (my LH 1B platoon) in LF. So instead of a "3" in LF and a "2" in CF I have two "4's" in LF & CF. Of course my team lost those next two games by close scores.

Most obviously that's a bonehead move. I was under the impression Bernie was trying to fix the replacement quirks. I guess not. :cry:

Jeep, having been there many times, I feel for you. Somewhere along the way Bernard starting working on higher priorities. Maybe he got tired of hearing all of Semper and JoetheJet's complaints.

Bernie was really close with the pitching change fixes, but stopped to do ATG3. I wish he would have just moved what he has there into production. It *couldn't* be any worse than what we have! ;)

He said he wants to look at subs next, but who knows when that'll be. I don't think it's his choice, but I think TSN wants to keep churning out new products rather than upgrading the current ones. :(

Jeep - the current algorithm for replacements *seems* to look at primary position + OPS, in other words, offense contributes more to the selection of a defensive replacement than defense from what I have seen....very dumb & Bernie should fix, but you have to know that until he does, this stuff is going to happen & there's a logic to it, even if it is [b:d50966a776]HAL[/b:d50966a776] logic.... :roll:
