I did not get a chance to bid on Russo and had planned to bid higher than any of the bids out there. (because I really wanted him... :evil: :evil: :evil: )

jet40, please look and you will not find a bid from me. (I will be honest and say that I had not decided on a bid, but it was going to be higher than $1.3 and less than $2.12). I just returned home and was preparing to bid when I saw the results.

I would like a chance to remedy this, but I do not have a fair solution in mind.

It looks like just over 4 hours passed. jet40 may have thought he had everyone's bid in and didn't.

I would say a good remedy would be to do the open auction for this player in a separate thread. You can test how it works, and we can continue with the auction here. You and litangel can do the open auction and we could continue with litangel's choice for a new pitcher to bid on.
