I understand how it works, but I'll use one of your words QK, it's dumb.

Hey! Good news on the subbing front (of course, no time frame, but at least there's intent!)

QK, As for Hawkins, I doubt he'll pitch any better than Hammond would have the rest of the way. It would have been pretty hard for Hammond to get worse, but we figured it would be fun to experiment. Not like we have a lot to lose at this point.

Wow, we've actually won 3 of 4 series. Amazing!

Our new guy looks like a keeper, gets a save in his first game getting Edmonds to hit into a bases loaded, game ending DP!

Game two we lose another extra inning game. Carrasco can't shut it down, but Hawkins K's the only batter he faces! What a stud. 8)
Riske (in our park) facing 5 LHB shuts us out for 3 and turns it over to Wagner.

But, hey, we get revenge in game 3, despite getting mowed down by that "awesome" pitcher Wasdin, Smoltz turns in this 3rd consecutive quality performance and we pull it out in 10. Hermanson actually pitches well! :P

Homepark Advantage?

Postby Semper Gumby » Thu Aug 31, 2006 5:54 am

Almost back from the Marines (using an unclassified internet PC this morning).

Haven't touched the team in two weeks.

Looking over the boys this morning, I noticed one strange data point -

In roughly the same number of PAs - my team had roughly the same number of HRs at home as on the road. Makes sense, I guess (I would have expected more on the road with Drew's and Berkman's BPHRs).

However, I had [b:fbba93eeba]19 errors [/b:fbba93eeba]at home but [b:fbba93eeba]31 on the road[/b:fbba93eeba].

This seems like a very strange difference - I'd expect them to be nearly the same.

Well although I doubt it is to Ninersphans liking, I just tighted up the Central Division somewhat, and brought myself within striking distance of .500 ... hopefully we can keep it up. :)

What's up gang? I hope all is well.

I haven't played the 2006 season at all. How do you guys compare it to the others? Anybody have any opinions on the All-Time Greats III? Looks like a great players pool!

Hey Kork, what's up? Haven't played ATG at all but I like the 2006 version. Cards are valued well, money gets VERY tight in $80M leagues, Tour this year has been fun....

Hey Korkie, great to hear from you! The competition is as tough as ever in the NLD (as evidenced by my league-worst record). :(

Don't go mentioning that over in ATG or they'll run you & JTJ out of town even faster than they are already trying to do. ;)

Hey AT, thanks for your support over there. It's much appreciated. Funny, I barely get a comment on the 200x forum any more (in fact, got no comment after posting the 50% off sale), but ATG just lit up. :) Guess they're not used to me yet. :)
