If we need to replace ldanred then we probably should try to do it sooner rather than later, correct? Other drafts are in the same boat I am guessing. If there is a problem in the 1999 draft, I would take over if that helps but may need a bit of time to get up to snuff as this would be my first 1999 team.

Busy dayy at work today so may be evening before I can get back on.

Idanred did not indicate that he wishes to be replaced, unless he did so on another auction's thread. he said he is OK with being skipped if he is the last person and has no bid and that seems to be working.

He's been AWOL on the 1999 auction for a loooonnnnnngggg time.

He also indicated at least a week, maybe two weeks ago that he would get his team loaded in the ATG4 auction and still hasn't done so.

We may be reaching a point where the desire for the eleven other managers to be confident in having a league to play when all of this finishes supersedes his own desire not to be replaced.

There was an indication by BobBoone in the winter league thread. I asked BobBoone by pm and got a reply that he would need to be replaced.

I don't want to see anyone replaced that has a desire to play, however at the same time I am more than a little concerned that ldanred has yet to load his team in that other league (and I have seen multiple posts in many of my other leagues begging, pleading him to do so) so that does make me more than a little worried that our league will suffer the same fate.
I am not sure what ldanred has going on in his life right now that is preventing him from participating in drafts and loading his teams, but whatever it is I am sure it is more important than strat.
I agree that if he does need to be replaced, it needs to be sooner rather than later.

...but I have been following this thread because I had missed out on joining. If ldanred decides to drop out, or you do decide on taking a replacement for ldanred, I would like to be considered as a replacement.

Wanting to both be considerate of Idanred and our needs, I make this suggestion as a comprmise:

We ask Idanred for this - by this Sunday - load his ATG4 team, and give us a description of when his life will allow him to be back to full participation, and what we can expect from him in the meantime, If we don't get theses things by Sunday, by Monday we replace him.

I maybe errantly assumed that he had given an indication that he would not be able to continue. By all means I am willing to work with him if he wants to continue.
