We drop three friggin' one run games tonight! Gawd I'm tired of this BS. :evil:

First game we lose in 10 when Flores, supposedly a hard LHRP gives up a HR to Ortiz.

Game two we rock Lackey, but that stud pitcher Kline 1 hits us over 3.1 IP. :roll: They come back to win.

Game 3 we lose in the bottom of the 9th. Carrasco gives up 2 HR in 2.1 IP. :roll: Yeah, I know he's going to give up some, but game after game something like this happens. His ERA is up to 3.48 with 10 jacks in 101 IP.

We're 13-24 in one run games (36-44 in all others) and I don't know what our record is in extras, but it can't be good. Geez if we can just win half our one runners, we're reasonable. :cry:

Meanwhile Texiera is down to .274 (in a high single park), Valentin 238, J Rod 267, Guiel 245, Taguchi 240, Kapler (platooning 81%) .222

About the only guys close to their numbers are Cabrera, Wilson, and singleton.

The ONLY pitcher is Zito. Brutal as I've ever seen it. :(

.500?? Haven't seen 500 in a looooong time and unless we can find a way to pull out a close game it's not going to happen. I have a bunch of gutless wonders that choke in the clutch every time. :(

Maybe we'll pull a Semper and make a bunch of moves. ;) Or, maybe we'll put these guys through some more agony and *make* them stay on the club. :P

Well I won a series last night, only my 2nd in the last 6, but I'll take it. This little slump I've been in has coincided with Giambi's 15-gamer, which I'm sure is no coincidence.

Meanwhile the Silver Express sweeps again and in their own little way are trying to tell me if I make the playoffs it's going to be as the Wildcard.

Can QK continue to play .600 ball?
