I think this is 1st time in many seasons that I did not do a sim for NLD. That's one of the reasons I was saying early on that I had zero expectations for this team as it was a complete experiment - my 1st true pitcher park in 2006, my 1st try at a true small-ball team in probably 3 years, and no sims to guide me.

Semp, Ichiro is a power stud in 2006, but I guess you're finding that out huh? Lance who? :lol:

Btw all, the much maligned Eastern Division (esp. Early on) now has on overall winning pct. better than The Central Division and came within 11 games of the win column of the Western Division. Since all that is left now is Divisional Games those numbers will not change now.

Meanwhile, my team got back to old form last night, I guess you could say it qualified as kicking a man when he's down...taking advantage of Joe/WM bad streak they're in. Sorry about throwing more gas on the fire guys.

That's only because we've sunk to 28 below .500. :shock: I refuse to believe this team is *this* bad. A .500 team or thereabouts I'll give you, but totally horrible? It just *can't be this bad. :cry:

Got swept again tonight. We played 3 games in a 1-18 HR park last night and hit 1 HR. :mad: But, gosh, we managed to hit 3 tonight! We should be so happy. :roll:

Got to watch Orvella shut us out for 2.1 IP meanwhile he's scoring a pair of runs off of Carrasco (he of the 3.96 ERA :?) in the top of the 9th. We leave 10 on base because we just can't seem to hit HRs.

We lost the final in 14 innings. :( With Carrasco blowing the save in the 8th on an unearned run. Kapler ( e6) this time. We also give up another unearned run in the 13th. Then, the final error, this time by Guiel (e3) and double by Jeter off of Madson beats us. Basically his last 4 runs score on account of errors. This is just head shakingly amazing to me.

Reached .500 for what I think is the first time this season, since at least the very early going. :)

I figure paybacks are a b****. :lol: We're due for a few breaks. Might as well save them for NLD 15 rather than whine about NLD 14. If our luck evens out we'll cruise to victory next go around. 8)
