Have yall noticed all the torrential rain, esp. across the Mid-Plains, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast this year? I've never seen so many baseball games rained out, along with games where they played in pouring rain than I have this year. I have the package where I watch tons of games and the weather has been horrible this spring and summer.

I'm not going to get bibical in this thread, but why do I not hear people talking about how this "weather" is predicted? Tsunamis, a barrage of hurricanes, tornados, etc, etc.

Anywho, Sandy mentioning the weather got me thinking about this, and thought I would just share my thoughts. I won't delve any deeper.

Back to picking. And Sandy, two nice hitters for your L/U I would say. And I see Hawk has jumped on his park here in Round V.

You're not gonna go all Al Gore on us now are you Jeep? .

In all seriousness, I certianly have noticed. there are counties south east of where I live that have been declared nation disaster areas due to the flooding. In fact one of sadny's stops in the upcoming weeks, the BC open, had to change locations due to the course, and surrounding area being flooded out.
I'm not a big believer in global warming myself, mostly because almost every meteorologist I know (and I know a lot of them having worked in TV news for 15 years) believe it's hogwash. But recent weather events certianly do make me wonder if we aren't screwing up the natural orrder of things. Or, maybe ol' mother earth is just sick of the "human contamination" and is doing her darndest to to rid herself of the plague of humanity.

and with that cheery thought,

the west coast duo of wineman and joe are up.

Nice progree yesterday, especially with no clock.

I'm certainly not a global warming backer either. I've seen a lot of evidence pointing to the "natural progression" of things. In addition, and I said I wouldn't get into it, I think there's a much higher authority (not Al Gore  ) causing this.

That said, there [b:70008b2937]is[/b:70008b2937] a rise in the ocean depth, and there are reasons to continue studying all this stuff, just not to the extent where we need to make life-altering decisions.

Fellas,

I put in about 10 proxies just now, should hold us over during my flight to Japan. I should be able to check in by Monday morning EST time so I think I'm covered.

Can someone pls repost div assignments?

Thx,

Qk

Just an assumption, but I think Divisions are aligned by draft order, IOW best 4 records in the West, worst 4 in the East. Therefore, the first 4 guys in the draft order comprise the East and so on.

Big is up.
