The 'Andres Blanco' Theme League

I simply went with the 4 parks with the lowest combined ballpark ratings, without having any rating at 10 or higher, so that there was no way you could have a hitter get 50+% BP Singles or BP HR rolls.

Petco - 1/1/1/1 = 4 of 80
Jacobs - 5/5/3/3 = 16 of 80
Dolphins - 5/5/9/3 = 22 of 80
Tropicana - 8/5/9/6 = 28 of 80

SAFECO had 22 (but a LH HR Rating of 14)
Dodger had 24 (but 2 BP HR ratings over 10)
Kaufmann had 27 (but 2 BP Singles ratings 10 or higher)
Busch had 28 (but a 11 RH Singles rating)
Angels had 29
Turner had 32
Comerica had 33 (but a 13 LH Singles rating)
SBC had 34 (and a 16 RH Singles rating)

Actually it is 9/3 rather than 9/1 ... and I had forgotten about RFK when I originally posted the theme ... and decided not to change it since it was so similar to Dolphins, whereas Tropicana at least has some hope for RH Hitting.

Maybe, if there is a next time, we'll use RFK instead of Dolphins. :) Be interesting to see what the ballparks will shape out to be like in 07.

What happens when someone breaks a bat? Cause none of these guys ever bring more than one bat to the park.

Anywho, GL to everyone 2nite. This should be pretty fun.

Only 2 teams scored 15 or more runs on opening night, and the League AVG is a stellar .230 while the League ERA is a humongeous 2.95!

Jeeps team has only allowed 8 runs in 6 games, but alas they have only scored 7 themselves ... on the other hand my team is tied for last place in Runs allowed with 26.

Thats only 4.333 runs per game, which is about a 3 run difference from the Tim Redding theme, or about 475+ runs a season.
