Been pretty busy for a while - but obviously so has everyone else. Anyway it is nice to have Season II underway. :)

Not sure it's nice for me! I lost 96 games in season 1... and thought I'd at least improve a little in the 80M version... but so far, my dismal 7-20 record proves beyond reasonable doubt that I personify the child's saying... "Finders Keepers, Losers Weepers"... :cry:

I may have to propose a change to the league bylaws... that back to back last place finishes allows a full-exchange of half-squads with any other manager :lol: ... meanwhile, from the "future advice" department... a keeper league is NOT the draft to mess up on, trust me :roll:

personally, i would be fine w/ a change to the rules (and i had a 94 game winner season 1). it just makes it no fun to have the same 8 half teams for 4 straight seasons.

the tough part is that unless we ditch some of the first 3 rounds of teams that we drafted, then it isnt going to switch up these rosters much at all. i would be completely fine with a complete re-draft after season 2.

I actually was only kidding about changing the bylaws/rules... I went into this keeper league with my eyes wide open about the rules and ramifications of not drafting as well as I might hope.

I'm willing to try to dig myself out of this terrible hole the long way... by trying season after season to add/drop/trade where I can to improve. I'll find more satisfaction by accomplishing that, than I would by trying to change the rules.

Just wanted to clarify my earlier comment- I'm staying the course with the league and all of its rules. Sorry if I caused confusion disguised as attempted humor :)

...i was serious. i created both my 80 and 100 million dollar teams like 2 months ago, and really didnt look at either since. im fine w/ staying with these teams too, i was just wondering if anyone else was bored...

My apologies - I havent even looked on this thread in a couple of weeks. I just wanted to say that I would listen to any rule changes provided they were serious - but personally I think it is still too early to consider any real overhauls. Even with 8 teams, it would take a max of 4 seasons for a team to completely overhaul their lineup - and less if they do full half-squad swaps (which I think are legal).

Even though the Squirrels have finally realized they are playing baseball, I would be interested in a complete or semi overhaul. I think we can all agree that the most fun part of a theme league is the draft, and we all know a little more about this card set. On the other hand, I came into this league knowing the rules and will be comepletely satisfied if we stay true to the original course. Also, from what I can see in this thread many people may not have time for another draft. Perhaps we should set it to a vote like we did for the rule changes before Season 1.
