Stadium Choice

Just so I pick the right stadium - based on the theme indicating that we pick the most HR friendly park, using BPHR numbers, I think these are my options based on my 2 1/2 team choices -

Team #1: Atlanta Braves - Turner Field HR LH 8 - RH 8
Team #2: Los Angeles Dodgers - Dodger Stadium HR LH 9 - RH 6
Team #3(1/2): Pittsburgh Pirates (Hitters) - PNC Stadium HR LH 9 - RH 4

So do I just add up the LH/RH values and go from there -

Turner = 16
Dodger = 15
PNC = 13

Winner = Turner

Did I do that right?

What a selection!

So I am choosing based on choices of Pit, Clev, Angels pitching. Can someone correct me if that is wrong? I have not been given commissioner guidance here.

They are close, but Cleveland is 20 miles closer than Pittsburgh so I think Biff is stuck with Cleveland Pitching and I get Pittsburgh Pitching. If someone can verify that I think we're good to go!

Biff gets to choose between the two, right? He is ahead of edub so he still gets a choice.

Sorry guys, limited access at work. I am in agreement with the last few picks and delbirds assessment of stadium picks. Just add up bphrs (l & r) and use the stadium with the highest total. I get citizens bank park. If edub wants to create the league since at let the east division know the password that would work or I can do it after work. Thanks all, ill check back later. Yes biff gets a choice.

Seems like this last round should have gone in reverse order of COMBINED payroll for the two full teams. With the Astros (God love 'em) as my primary team and the Orioles for edub, I don't see how we can compete -- or how the playing field could be adequately leveled -- by getting these last two 1/2 choices. Then again, as Sir Winston Churchill once said:

"Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm."

So it is with enthusiasm that I go to the next.

Division alignment

Can I propose an alternate division alignment? By payroll - bottom 4 teams of hometown payroll, middle four, top 4?

Those of us on bottom got essentially nothing from the 1/2 team, plus our home teams are understocked. We are at a severe disadvantage.

Yes Biff

I am proposing this division alignment even without quoting a world leader.

If we do this again the bottom teams absolutely must have top choices again of the 1/2 teams to try to give some balance. Looking at how divisions will be set as it stands now, my team will lose 100 games.

As will yours, Biff.
