Don't forget about the $100 M cap. Since you are over you will have to drop to get under the cap, and any players you draft will need to fit under the cap as well.

Also keep in mind that owners must keep at least 15 players from their two franchises.

BUMP

All - I will post my pitching team in the next few hours; still hoping that pirhala makes his pick today.

I could make my pick now, but that won't help the league move along to Round 3 and beyond.

I have chosen the New York Yankee pitchers to go with my Yankee hitters. Updated salaries here; sorted by what I believe is the correct draft order for Rounds 3-7:

Kramers PHI Pitch ARZ Hit 30,920 37,820 68,740
Metjet24 COL Hit BOS Pitch 44,980 24,060 69,040
getowtamypotSTL Hit TEX Pitch 39,600 33,220 72,820
CATom SFN Pitch MIL Hit 37,320 40,100 77,420
blackjack57MIN Hit TB Pitch 55,340 28,700 84,040
azpanthers TB Hit ATL Pitch 53,660 31,180 84,840
timboy LAD Pitch CHW Hit 36,390 48,890 85,280
Risden NYY Hit NYY Pitch 61,520 26,330 87,850
Delbird BOS Hit STL Pitch 59,380 32,930 92,310
nymets99 TEX Hit SD Pitch 53,200 40,810 94,010
mike28298 CIN Hit OAK Pitch 75,020 25,440 100,460

[b:13865f0c5c]I would strongly suggest that we do NOT start Rounds 3-7 until we have Pirhala or his substitute are firmly on board for this league. [/b:13865f0c5c]

Agreed, never had any intention of starting 3rd without Pirhala or a sub, was surprised that the 2nd moved so fast (except Pirhala), I thought we would have one or two other slow drafters besides him.

Any opinions on how long we should wait before looking for a sub? Will wait at least a few more hours.

I would wait till sometime this evening. I believe Pirhala said he can no longer access this site from work (and guessing he has a 9-5 job), so I wouldn't bank on seeing him on here this afternoon. Sounds like he has a full plate right now too aside from this league (with the move and all).

i have no problem slowing things down a bit so Pirhala can get caught up. it took so long to fill this league that we might as well give somone that wants (Pirhala) to participate time to get in.

Okay, I can sub in for Pirhala but looks like the spot already got skipped.....hmmmm.

Rules question. Like last season, do we retain rights to all players we draft. meaning if I drop any of the players from the 2 franchises I pick or the 4 individual players, they go to my minor league system and nobody else can pick them up? Any player you add during the frenzy can be picked up by anybody if they are dropped? Only difference is the undrafted franchise players cannot be picked up after the frenzy.
Since I am a sub can I pick any pitching squad that picked after me?
I would have taken SD P or Stl P next.
