It's really, really slow this aftn. It's taking forever trying to set a couple of proxies.

Wow, Silver has an all 1 OF and a SS. :shock:

Actually, there are a couple of teams out tehre with good D's.

We're not one of them bTW.

Up to Hawk in round 9. Made really good progress so far today!

yeah, wait, he *is* in your division! Mine too. I knew there was someone else, just didn't see it with a quick scan. Scary D.

Of course both teams have also spent the most $ so far so we'll see how they get under the cap.

I'm wondering if AT had a proxy mishap...McDonald AND furcal on back-to-back picks, plus only one of his two picks taken? Seems possible anyway.

mcdonald is versatile. it looks like he is hedging against the injury prone hudson and furcal.

yep. I guess so. I never get these proxy guesses correct. Seems like they always want to do it.

Furcal is also a nice value DH pick in a pitcher park. I was looking at him or Manny, but Manny brings more lineup balance & OB. I am looking at 3-4 RHs in this lineup: Prado, Manny, Ryan, and 1 of 1B or 3B.

Unfortunately I don't have an all 1 OF. Hamilton & Gardner are both LF 1s, and neither is rated RF. So it looks like LF/RF 1, with Hamilton's -4 arm in CF as a 2.

But overall I like my D, though I may have to sacrifice at 1B/3B, we'll see. C we know is a 4, but the rest is:

SS-1
2B-2
LF-1
CF-2
RF-1

I'll do ok on run prevention.

Lineup vs RH looking like:

Prado
Gardner
Hamilton
Santana
ManRam
Torres
1B
3B
Ryan

Only 2 basepath slugs at the moment, see if we can keep those guys to a minimum...

Probably a reach taking Bonifacio there, but he went in the 10th last time so................

Hopefully I won't regret that pick.
