Another big trade done! Bonds & Forster get shipped off in exchange for Duke Snider & Dave Giusti. I do not think I've ever had Snider before in ATG II.

Based on Winfields injury I can surmise that I have either his 75 or 82 cards ... and most likely the 75 card based on his performance so far ... either way that means whomever acquires him off me would have a 80-100% chance of getting a good year from him.

during a trade it DOES switch years, but to any of the FIVE years randomly, which means, yes, you can get the exact same year.

Interesting how there are 4-5 teams with really bad records - normally in ATG or 200X you'll only see maybe 1-2 teams with bad records. However here we have 4 teams on pace to lose 100 games! :shock: :shock:

Does Duke Snider always do this bad? Hard to believe a guy with +.900 OPS on every card is barely making .700 right now ...

with 3 finished teams my best result so far was 81-81 and a 7th place finish...... this league is my 5th and LAST credit and GOOD RIDDANCE to this game forever..... I absolutely hate every single thing about fanta and can't WAIT to be done with it....and if this is an example of how the 80's game works with multiple cards I am GLAD I never tried it and never WILL try it now.

I don't think either of my teams playing now will lose 100....but neither will be over 500 either.... the BRIGHT side....jsut 5 weeks more of games.... 35 nights and I can IGNORE fanta forever after that :D

No - I play BTT80s on a semi-regular basis, and FantaSim is not really like BTT80s at all. There are some similarities ... but then again there are similarities between every SOM Game.

At least in BTT80s you know what park you're playing at, and it is a lot easier to figure out what cards you have based on injuries & split stats.

Nonetheless not every game is for every owner ... not sure how many more FantaSim tries I'll give it, especially considering how long it took me to play my first LOL ... so the same applies to ATG II & BTT80s ... everyone has their own tastes and I'm glad we have a variety of games & options to choose from. :)
