I had this feeling about a week ago that a 90 win season wasnt going to get a wildcard and a week later I'm even more convinced but now am looking up at .500!

Well I'm not out of this yet and still have one more set of moves but am hesitant to pull the trigger yet. Most of the problem thus far was Juan's 15 day DL then LoDuca on the shelf for 6-7 days. I think I need a vacation to the Central just about now but half to slug thourgh my decision first. Oh well, I asked for competition.

Shawn Green certainly has woken up - as hoped & expected - and now leads the team in HR and has a SLG over .600.

I won't be surprised if every regular has at least 20 HR by the end of the season, even players like Giambi & A. Gonzalez.
